Street Fighter 5: Casuals Matter Too

Let’s start right off the bat by saying that Street Fighter 5 is probably going to be a hard sell. Even though it might be a hard sell I haven’t been able to put the game down. Most of the time I would normally be playing Heroes of the Storm has been replaced with bodying and getting bodied. The game is fun, the controls are tight, the netcode is fantastic, everything that should make a good fighting game is there. So then why is this game going to be a... Read More

Shelter 2: I am a Terrible Mother

I must be the worst candidate for being a good mother. One, my beard is starting to weave into my chest hair; two, if Shelter 2 has taught me anything I will hate my children until they leave me. Don’t get me wrong, I loved my little lynx children but actually giving a shit if they lived or died while trying to provide for them was extremely frustrating. To give you an example I’m learning the game mechanics and the best way to hunt down rabbits so I can feed... Read More

Anna: Miles of What the Fuckery

This is only the second review I’ve made, so I can’t really claim to be breaking any sort of pattern by reviewing an old game with mixed reception that I can only say I personally enjoyed, but damn it all that’s exactly what I’m going to do. Take that, hypothetical pattern. So lets pick apart Anna - a single player point and click-ish atmospheric horror game. Actually, let’s pick it apart twice. I will be the first one to admit, I hate the space marines. In fact I hate the Imperium as a whole except for the Inquisition and the Adepta Sororitas. So a game that allows me to kill space marines over and over again is already a good game in my book. Warhammer Regicide is all of that mixed with chess and some turn based elements.

Warhammer regicide is one of the first warhammer games to come out from the long list of warhammer games... Read More

The Talos Principle: Arguing Philosophy with Librarians

Lets start this review with something pretty much anyone will tell you: this game is good. It’s good like a ton of other games in my steam list that never got any attention or less than a day of play. This game, I lost sleep over just to finish. Next morning, I had to go back and see what I missed only to find a new part of the game I hadn’t even touched. That’s the sort of good that earns a full recommendation to anyone who likes classic puzzling and arguing philosophy with an AI... Read More
